If Dubois elects for arbitration, the Jets will choose a 1yr term. Then the team would trade Dubois with 1yr of team control left and before QO's go out in the summer of 2023 like they did with Trouba so that it is more attractive for the acquiring team (pay for 1yr RFA and 6yrs of UFA if they go max term).
