imo the young players like Haas, Nygard, Persson, Benson, Marody, Yamamoto, Bouchard, Jones, Bear will have chance to make the club and at least 2-3 will make it; otherwise, not bad

no thanks Brassard to slow and way over paid , and Engelland just to old to play any more , and with Puljujärvi he won't sign with the oilers so go let him play in the KHL and hope he can build his value up so the oilers can trade him down the road or maybe in a year or 2 he might want to sign with the oilers

They might end up making the team but I'd still like to have proven NHL talent in front of them in training camp for competition. I wouldn't be happy with essentially having them to compete with each other and picking out of this group. Its a whole bunch of question marks.

Between Benson, Marody, Yamamoto, Bouchard, Jones, Bear only Jones and Benson have shown the skating ability so far to keep up in the NHL so I wouldn't really slot them in the opening night lineup. What happens when they struggle in the NHL who's gonna replace them?
