Rantanen is an amazing player and will be for years. This is too much if you ask me.
There’s only two players I would give up and offer like this for, and they are McDavid and Rantanen’s teammate MacKinnon.
Now, I’m not necessarily saying that Edmonton or Colorado would accept this for their top players, but this is a good offer for one of them.

If I'm Colorado, that trade would give me a serious tough choice to make.

Vorachek is making similar money to what Rantanen probably will make and would be a downgrade but not a huge one.

Patrick could be a really good player still, I'm not sure about the other 2 players but adding in a 1st round pick might be something Colorado would consider. They might decline, but it wouldn't be a quick no.

I think if you add frost that patrick wouldn't be involved then. Or it would have to be a young winger in the NHL like Lindblom
