Without any of these trades, how close are the Canucks from making the playoffs? I don't have them making it this year but realistically how close are they and could they surprise this year? (Possibly jumping a Calgary team that takes a huge step back)

These trades makes no sence at all...
1. Montreal Canadiens are not going to give up max domi for that, especially how he did this season...

2. I don't know about that trade with the Blue Jackets, it can happen, goaltender swap, but Markstrom is arguably the better netminder out of the Korpisalo, and Demko yet to show he can be a starter for the canucks right now..

3. Ethan bear and a 3rd for sven baertshi might go through, but Holland is a guy who would say no... add in a 4th from the canucks then I can see this trade going through...

Brock Boeser is obviously asking for money than $6.8 per year, but Jim Benning is trying to do something similar since he hasn't yet played a full season due to injury...
But if the deal were to be done I'd think it be around $7.25 AAV

And Goldobin... thinking he might sign a 1.5 to 2 mil probably IDK

Canucks looking like a bubblr team right now, so I see them NOT making the playoffs, but missing it by 4 points behind the Sharks or Arizona or possibly the Oilers is somehow things turn around
