That's not how it works here.

People only say they don't like it and then run away.

I don't think any of your moves here are plausible.

Taking Eaves back is bad for PIT

Kreider deal is bad for PIT

No incentive for OTT to take Guddy

Gardiner is not signing for that.

All that and you are cap strapped with little flexibility and only a 22 man roster.

Eaves doesn't hurt pit at all, he just goes on LITR and the deal will clear a ton of cap space, krieder is 20-30 goal guy that can do everything and NYR need to offload cap so he'll be cheaper, ott needs to get to cap floor and a sixth is below Gudbransons market value, I do agree on gardiner, but if teams were willing give him 6 million plus a year he would probably be signed already. Rutherford has said multiple time that he doesn't plan on going into the season with a 23 man roster anyways

LTIR severely impacts cap flexibility.

OTT is already at the floor.

I wouldn't give away Rust for free just to get rid of Johnson either. I would officially be on fire JR bandwagon.

Ott has almost 10 mill that will go on the LTIR and they will be back under.
and since when has cap flexability been the penguins priority? They are constantly in a cap crunch

OTT doesn't have to LTIR anyone...

Cap crunch and no cap flexibility are not one in the same.
