Edmonton fans are going to need to learn how to be patient.

1) They are at least 3 seasons away from being even close to a contender
2) Pinning your hopes on a revamped defence on a 19 year old rookie is a great way to destroy a players career before he starts
3) The franchise needs to put a much bigger emphasis on player development. They can't buy there way out of this mess, they need to draft players and develop them into serviceable depth.

people need to get that it more about chemistry between the team then the names on the shirts... and to win a cup the need for 1 or 2 rookies is a must. They bring a different mentality to the team
