These deals wouldn't move the needle much for EDM this season, but both are fair trades that would clear up some cap both now and next offseason. Would be a wise course of action for Holland to follow.

I think its absurd that you have Sheary coming from Buffalo with retained salary. They would NEVER go for that. I would argue they wouldnt take a 2nd for him either.

Shearys been pushed out, Id rather have the roster spot for Olofsson

Agreed, but I dont think Sheary is the one that pushed out. I think its more going to be Larsson or Girgs. Erod is the perfect utility guy to play 4C and tons of other roles. At least agree you cant see Buffalo retaining salary on that one. Thats apparently a big no no with Botteril. Hes typical not a buyout/dead cap money guy
