That's not a good use of our remaining CAP space to be honest. The Boyle deal is fine for 1 year, but I'd much rather have JHS at 1m on the 3RW and maneuverability to add someone at the TDL, than Williams at 5m and no ability to add.

Besides, I think it's been said over and over that Williams is likely returning to CAR or retiring.

Agreed Boyle is a nice to have, but time to let the young wings Dal Colle, Ho-Sang and maybe even Bellows. Plus I don’t think they can send down Ho-Sang, he would need to go on waivers and someone would definitely pick him up.

100% agree! This would be the perfect year to let the young guys play it out. If we can move Leddy for a Top 6 winger, I'd like to see a 3rd line of dal Colle-Beau-JHS and see what that line can do. If Leddy doesn't get moved for a winger, then I'd put Beau with Barzal and Eberle and roll out a 3rd line of dal Colle-Bellows-JHS... I know Bellows isn't a Center, per se... but I'm pretty sure he's played their before.

Also, not sure about the JHS and not being able to be sent down... I think it depends on the contract he signs.
