Overpay tbh. Valimaki will be a top pairing D and dube will be a middle 6 forward.

As a Blues fan, I'd pass on anything involving Thomas. He's got more upside than either of those guys IMO. And I do like Valimaki, but no reason to make the swap.

But then they’d have to lose someone else. Anyways, I agree with AK that Thomas is the best player in the trade with the most upside.

That may be the case, but if traded it would have to be Thomas+ for Valimaki alone.
