    I can see the desire to have a veteran, but he's gotten bad and it would really put downward pressure on our defensive prospects. VGK won't make this move unless someone gets hurt in camp.

    You can bury almost all that contract in the AHL or play him as a #7. He's a very good offensive Dman, which is good insurance to have all season.

    Holden is considerably faster, but much worse and makes over 2m.
