Shatty won’t play in Toronto

It was mentioned at the time that Shatty signed with the Rangers, That he has no desire to play in Canada. Hence the reason he would'nt sign long term with Edmonton in the Hall for Shattenkirk deal. He has no desire to play in Canada.

I think it's between Ceci and Barrie. Ceci played 1st pairing in Ottawa the past few years, his results last year weren't horrible. Barrie was a 2nd pairing guy and Shattenkirk a 3rd pairing player who just got bought out. Of those 3 Shattenkirk would be my 3rd choice to play on the 1st pairing.

i see what you are saying but the issue with that is you really cant play barrie on the first line with riley both being offencive powerhouses would kind of hinder the performance of both, i could see giving ceci a shot at the number 1 pairing and see how he fairs. he would probably be better for riley than hainsey was.
