Arbitration with Rocco will likely land somewhere between the $700K league minimum and $1m. Split the difference at $850K.

Rangers were unable to find a landing spot for Shattenkirk even if they retained 50% of the cap for a new AAV of $3.3m so I believe his value to be somewhere in the $2-2.5m range. While I don't believe he will return to the 40+ points he has averaged much of his career, he should be capable of 25-30 points and has been a good PP quarterback which is something the Preds definitely lacked last year. He is also capable of playing top 4 minutes in the event of injury or if Fabbro has any struggles in his full rookie season. While he is clearly a tier below where Subban is, they are the same age, and the level of production is not vastly different considering he will come at a cap hit less than 1/3 of Subban's. He seems like a solid Subban replacement in Nashville that provides slightly less production at a fraction of the cost while still providing PP specialties and veteran presence.

Trades are throwaways, maybe you get late round picks for Weber and Irwin or maybe they end up on waivers.
