there is no reason for mtl to be trading that many picks. a 1st and a 2nd will get it done. maybe even a 3rd from the 2021 draft, considering the habs are retaining salary. the first rd picks should be a 2020 first rd pick. draft is in mtl

I see where you're coming from, but I think it's more digestible to NSH this way.
The way I see it, moving up to 2 4th's from2 3rds in a Montreal hosted draft year at the cost of an additional 6th is worth it.

2021 1st adds additional depth later on (or use it in combination to trade up with).
