Late 2021 2nd and 2021 3rd isn't a back breaker for a $2.4/4 year. 20+ goal output and solid PKer.

But with guys like Tierney and Brown already here, and the number of guys coming up on the wings in the next couple of years, I just don't see the sense of it. Just feels like a move for the sake of making a move.

If he was a free agent today I'd want Ottawa to be all over him, but as far as trading for him, but I can find a better way to spend a 2nd + a 3rd.

You could retain further and sell him for another 2nd+3rd in the future if you really had that much of a youth surplus to many teams.
