I think if they traded Spurgeon, they'd prioritize getting a blue chip prospect back over a 1st round pick that likely would be 25+.

I really can't see them ever trading Koivu. I think he's a Shane Doan scenario where he retires only playing for the team that drafted him. Depending on what the new GM does, I could see them re-signing him on some 1 year deals until he's ready to hang it up.

Otherwise I'm not familiar with the prospects in the trades to say if you over or under valued someone. The frameworks at least look mostly like something the Wild would want

I very much doubt any of this happens, but they need to move Spurgeon and Koivu from a business standpoint, as much as it may sting thier fanbase. It's just better asset management.

Not opposed to the moves i think there would be more players involved and less draft picks.

Oh probably, I just know that the picks are less likely to get a billion fans of different teams up in arms about the proposed trades
