Description

Flames are looking for a left d on a one year deal. Jets tried to keep Frolik so he already knows the leaders in the room. It's pretty much an even swap of caphits.

We keep Vesa and Stanley in the minors playing big minutes developing and can call them up if needed. We also break in Poolman

The big difference being that Frolik brings value for his cap hit and Kulikov is a pylon. No way the Flames should do this trade. Need for a LD is overblown as Kylington played fine when Valimaki was injured last year.

It's a bad deal for both teams. Jets wanna create room for young F's and Calgary could add a decent D man in the UFA market. Dion coming back?
