Carolina shoot you down real quick. Our wing spots are completely filled with guys better than Frolik, moving TvR weakens their stength, I don't see why Carolina would make this move

Publish enough nonsensically optimistic contract ideas like this, and we might see another offer sheet this summer.

Both the trade and the signings seem realistic, with Carolina getting a great deal if Frolik re-signs. You may have to add a provisional pick back to Calgary, and make the 5th provisional too. Good one.

How is this nonsensical? It's a bridge deal and if you compare this one to the one Aho got at 8.275 for 5 yrs, this is around what Tkachuk should get for a 3 yr deal considering Aho is a Center, had more points than Tkachuk, had great playoff numbers this year and was his team's leading scorer. Don't see how that's "nonsensically optimistic" at all.

Great comp. Yep. Aho had about the same number of primary points, and a similar number of goals. I'd bet Carolina would love to have him bridged around 6M, too. smile
