Minnesota better be retaining salary on Rask. He is worth a straight up for Gagner and at least 1 mil retained.

In this scenario there is no salary retained, rask has had a rough two years with his injury and the trade but the fact is he is locked up for a few years and with the right team i think he goes back to being a consistent 40 pt player. Gagner is 4 years older and on an expiring contract, while he is still serviceable he is not worth more then rask or equal in a straight up trade.

He won't get the minutes ,behinf Is McDavid and Nuge. Mom my would eat salary to offload that one. I like Rask, watched him in Carolina. Bottom 6 center / needs wings to carry the play. Take the picks out .

I can understand that opinion, the one pick was conditional but i mean if i was negotiating in real life i would have tried a 1 for 1 with him and gags first and then went from there haha but i figure this is what minny would want as rask still have more upside

Blues have no need for Brodziak, and it's a flat no on the other trade.

brodziak provides the buriabledepth and he knows organization, brodziak could go to other teams as well but St. Louis isn’t out of question. Especially in the scenario that barbashev gets traded. As for the other trade you don,t know that for sure, as far as value goes it’s not crazy off base, gunnarsson is a scratch right now and barb is an Rfa threatening to go to Europe and was just a second round pick that finally had a decent year def has more upside but the throw in of a third helps get it done but it could easily be turned down as well. In this scenario it’s accepted

We have plenty of depth, we don't need a 35 yo retread.

The other trade is not good for the Blues. Gunny is not really a scratch, and teams need at least seven reliable D-men anyway. Then you want us to replace him with Russell, who costs twice as much and isn't as good. Barby isn't going to Europe, his agent is just trying to get leverage. Puljujärvi is a head case bust waiting to happen, and again we don't need him. Lowe is a meh prospect. The 3rd would be something nice if it was for 2020, but you skipped past the good draft class to a not so good draft class. So basically, you want the Blues, a team trying to win Cups now, to A) give up the best two players in the trade by a decent margin for maybes and futures & B) take the bigger cap hit. Sorry, no thanks. It makes no sense at all for us.
