Tbh idk Adrian’s true value bc he’s an rfa that hasn’t really put up a tremendous amount of points

Kempe is a quality two-way forward. He's not going to put up a ton of points, but he's probably good for 20g and 45p while playing a responsible defensive game. He's a quality option on the power play and penalty kill as well. One of the best skaters I've ever seen. Can finish, but doesn't really create his own chances. The Kings are very high on him.

If the Kings are going to trade him, it's going to be for a quality forward that is a few years younger. Kings have no use for Namestnikov and Gettinger is a downgrade. Lindgren is a decent enough prospect, but the Kings aren't going to trade one of their quality forwards for a defensive prospect.

I could see the Kings swapping Kempe for Howden or Andersson, but I don't see New York wanting to go for that. More likely that Kempe stays put.

That's basically what he is, a solid middle 6 TWF, very useful to LA, and Lindgren compensates for the cap dump in Namestnikov and Gettinger doesn't give the Kings much, he's more of an AHLer who'll be up-down during his career, or forced on a 4th line bc of his size but won't bring much more to the NHL.

There is no upside for LA to move AK in this deal
