RNH has to be in for the deal before the jets even blink in my opinion.

This team is in big trouble on the back end. And if Edmonton could trade Manning for a 7th he’d be gone by now let alone a 4th.

What use do the Caps have for Brandon Manning? Even if he was good, which he most certainly is not, they're pretty much set on defense.

The caps are a championship team and having extra Dmen is never a bad thing. Would be a 7th dman NHL Or top 4 in the AHL. And to be honest I just picked a random team to send him off to it could any team in the league for any pick as long we he’s gone.

You serious? I’d straight up do RNH for Laine as long as Laine agrees to sign with the Oilers long term and RNH would have to sign with the Jets when his contract expires and if not we throw in 1st round pick

No I meant keep laine lol. RNH is good but trading laine would come back to bite us in the ass, and quite honestly lose every proposal out their for him right now. We would look stupid if we trade him and he comes back and drops 50 while being an improved player.

I think we’re far from trouble on the back end when it’s our biggest strength prospect wise. Bouchard is NHL ready to play in the top 4 this year and I’d also play Jones on the 3rd pairing this season as well as finding a way to bring in a top 4 left handed dman to play with Bouchard

I mean yes it could suck but if the return is I think the jets would listen? Might get mad at this take but I don’t think Laine will reach is full potential on the jets however playing with the best player in the league along with Draisaitl would make him a legitimate 100 point player / 50 goal scorer every season. RNH also came off of a career year while missing games do to injury and while playing with dumpster fire of a roster. If you didn’t want RNH or Klefbom I’d do Nurse and 2 second round picks for Laine I don’t think any team could match the Nurse trade with him coming off of a 41 point season and his ceiling is incredibly high.
