Big time over payment on Roslovic. If that's what the Jets want for him I hope the Flames don't pay it. He's a 25 -35 point winger at this point with maybe a 55 to 65 point ceiling (similar to Bennett with probably a higher probability of getting there than him at this point). One of Kylington or Jankowski ought to be close to getting the job done, so we shouldn't be sending the Jets both.

How about a Roslo/Hammer as a base?

I would make this same package for Bennett, I don't think Kylington or Jankowski have as much value around the league as Flames fans would like to think. Jankowski is not a good C and should be on the wing in a bottom 6 role which Calgary is currently full of on the left side, Kylington is a poor mans TJ Brodie at this point, ton of holes in his game and a liability in the D zone.

I don't see the Flames moving Hamonic, personally I think he re signs and plays with Hanifin for some time to come, they are a great second pairing and make a lot of sense playing together. Also with the package that Calgary put together to get him, I don't think they would move him without at least a first coming back, which would seem like an overpay for a lot of teams.
CN10 liked this.

I guess that might be a trade where both sides say no because I'd rather keep Roslovic than have another prospect left D to throw on the pile with JMo, Niku, Stanley, Samberg and Heinola. Jankowski isn't looking like a top 6 C and is 2 years older than Roslovic. 5th round pick could be there or not, it's not material.

The trade doesn't address any of our needs so I'm not sure why the Jets would do it. Overpayment or not.
