Think he's gonna be a stud don't get me wrong, still think us fans gotta temper our expectations a bit here. By no means is he guaranteed a spot on the roster right off the bat

Most fans and people in the organization think he will, I can see him taking a top 6 spot from buch

Think thats best case scenario. More realistically he will be middle six with pp time here and there. If he disappoints in training camp/preseason don't be surprised to see him starting in Hartford. Highly doubt they keep him as a 13th forward. No value in that.

For the record I do think he makes the team, but this is a scenario for if he disappoints.

Fans always have unrealistic expectations

I agree with the logic regarding tempering expectations- but do realize that your logic is to be applied to all 5 forwards- and Fox- who are on ELCs but don’t require waivers to go to Hartford...I just don’t think Krav goes- I think either Lias or Howden will be the guy starting in Hartford- unless a trade is made or Lemieux isn’t signed

Sure but it still remains that if one of Chytil, Lias, or Howden disappoint they will still have the upper hand having played under Quinn in the NHL. Kravtsov is a sick prospect, don't misunderstand where I'm coming from, I simply believe that if all 5 of the forwards you are mentioning have mediocre showings in training camp then the guys with prior experience with Quinn will win out. That is my opinion.
