Description

Vas just got 9.5 mill I would assume murray would be asking for similar money maybe 7.5-8.25 range. I know he still has 1 year of RFA eligibility but pit would have to buy UFA years here. Move on and don't overpay your goalie.

I don't think New Jersey would want Jack Johnson and his contract. Pittsburgh's gonna have to sweeten the deal a bit here.

Why would PIT ever do that, you say that they might overpay him, but they're getting Schneider back who's much MUCH worse than Murray, and makes 6 mil, that's way more of an overpay than paying Murray 7.5-8, and I'd take the JJ contract before the Schneider one, so you're trading a young top 15 starter for a third and 6th... Lol no

NJ has the cap space to just send JJ to the minors and have a legit number 1 goalie to go with the new core they have put together. Its a no brainer for NJ really.
