As a Finn I like the thought of full Finnish team, but the unfortunate part is that those trades don't exactly work. I'd imagine EDM BUF and NJ accepting those moves, but the rest won't.

Also Laine at $5M is a bit...optimistic, should I say.

Yeah, I was trying to get "fair" value, but figured some of those top teams would be a no. The problem is, I was trying to add draft picks to even out the value, but a lot of those teams are close to contending and wouldn't accept. I think some are closer than others.

Also, I think $5-6 for Laine is within striking distance considering it's a bridge deal. If he lives up to it, he could be looking at $10+ on his third contract, which he isn't going to sniff right now.

Either way, thanks for replying! Maybe I'll try this again and go for some more realistic targets to fill out the lineup

Hmm, not sure what you mean, only two players that I'm trading for would be one year rentals (Granlund and Vatanen), with most of the guys with one year left being RFAs. I do agree that it would be hard to keep the team together with so many players due for raises. And thanks! It was a lot of fun to make.
