I have a bit of a hot take on this...I don’t think the current state of the team is fully on GMJR. I don’t think Guerin was as good as everyone thinks from an assistant GM perspective. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that Rutherford starting making all these off the wall signings/trades after Botterill took the Buffalo job either.
