Signings work for me, lines aren't quite right. Grigorenko doesn't sign a small bridge contract to play 4th line C (Avs will never determine hes value playing 8 mins a night). Switch Grigorenko with Soderberg (Grigorenko has crazy good chemistry with Iginla for some reason). Then swap Soderberg to C line 3 and Mitchell C line 4. Boom. You are now qualified to coach the Columbus Blue Jackets ( RIP Jacketsman61 1961-2016)

This year is not the year that the Avs pull the trigger (had to resign both MacKinnon and Barrie).
Next season when Iginla and Stuart come off the books (saving us almost 9 mil in cap space) THEN we make a splash.

Couldn't agree more, Alex. Roy loves toying with the lines - but I think some chemistry will begin to develop, much like the Grego Iginla mesh.

Definitely low financially on Barrie and MacK if the term is that long
