Full disclaimer: I really hope that the hawks are not selling in February, but I think it’s possible they get squeezed out because of the strength of the central.

Bonus: Blackhawks legend Jan Rutta returns

Would it be funny or sad if the hawks were to win back into the top 3 next season? We already got very very very lucky last season, and I’m wondering if I should even hope when the draft lottery comes around. I don’t want to be ungrateful after all.

I wonder if we could get this pick out of Tampa. It’s obvious that Gus is an attractive add to the lightning with his contract, plus their defensive depth.

Additional Details:

Colorado’s only clear weakness is their goaltending. More than likely that hawks hold onto both contracts throughout, but just for this ACGM’s sake let’s assume av’s are interested in 2x cup winning goalie Corey Crawford.

2021 3rd round pick is conditional on Crawford playing a regular season game. Can upgrade to a second in 2021 if Crawford plays in 15 regular season or playoff games.

Additional Details:

The goalie market at the deadline, one of the trickier subjects... why would you need a goalie if you are a playoff team? Why would a rebuilding team want a rental goalie... the grey areas are maddening...

He is pretty good overall I think he will slot into there future top 4.

Also i don't think they would part with that Vancouver 1st unless Vancouver is absolutely dominating the pacific come Feb just cause it's entirely possible that it could still be a lottery pick even if unlikely
