Yeah thats true I like that he can play both sides but i meant in the regard of columbus giving up as little as possible so not 4 assets for 1 say for example more 1 or 2 if you get what i mean.

I think you nailed it on this one almost but I think columbus would need to send savard or something winnipeg will need a legit top 4 dman for this one too and Nutivaara is just slightly off in that regard but maybe they get him cheaper if murray was in there not sure what you think?.

I like this deal cause i see fiala being a consistent 20 goal guy and greenway has so much potential i like this deal a lot i think it would still be a bit of a steal for vancouver

I take it if i was Vancouver and i could afford it unfortunately the cap will stop this deal from happening but I believe kaprisov will be an absolute beast in this league so yeah id take it but again the cap issues are tough.

Blockbuster time replace panarin and hopefully Jones In time
Even though i think the value is solid i think i wouldnt want to lose jones for marner jones is a future norris worthy player if healthy and then to add on wennberg and only get ceci id be hoping in this deal for maybe someone like sandin or something for the future like that if possible but then the value goes all over the place any chance you would take werenski in place of jones.

A prospect like vilardi doesnt become expendable for a while still he is still really young and LA is super high on him this would be a bad deal for LA.

actually i think thats probably the best opportunity for both winnipeg and columbus to fill there needs but i would try to shape the deal different to not include wennberg just yet.

Laine
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>I doubt most top 4 NHL defencemens who Winnipeg would want would ever be available in trades. So, I think theyre getting the next best thing, they fill their #2c need, they get a top 4 nhl D man whos 1 year away from making the lineup and they get picks</div></div>
see the thing is I think you are right which is why I like this deal is cause I think it is very unlikely they get that top 4 unless Columbus comes calling looking to deal Savard or maybe if he can kick it up Murray but besides that I think this deal would be good for them maybe carolina sends a offer but its going to be D heavy teams that winnipeg wants the offers from.

I actually think youre value on this is solid but I think laine doesnt go anywhere unless a top pairing dman comes back winnipeg is a win today or soon team they will def want that dman.

laine to anaheim

I agree that lindholm is too valuable to anaheim to give up like alone or with just the pick fine but def not with steel in hand too that is overpayment for laine where anaheim would fill there offensive void a HUGE one would be left on defence.

Laine 1 for 1 who says no
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>I know it's subjective, but Larkin might be the superior player. Plus how much cheaper is in going to than Laine. Laine's goal total would plummet in Detroit without a good/great centre.</div></div>
This right here is the correct answer larkin could produce on every nhl team in my opinion and well so could laine but the difference is that when laine is on a slump or struggles he has always had so much talent around him to get him out of it and back on pace while larkin on the other hand has slightly less tools at his disposal and has shined.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CrossFireX33</b></div><div>Yeah for some reason because Risto had one bad season that means he's bad in all regards, I don't know why people act like he's the worst defenseman on the team</div></div>
I get what you mean and im guilty myself of thinking he is terrible more often then he is but i think thats due to a couple things mainly the pressure of being a top 4 in buffalo before he was ready but to be honest at this point in time i still believe he is a third pairing I think he needs a different system to thrive his numbers are brutal in his own end with that in mind he is solid in the offensive zone and dependable there.

I think that minnesota trade is a no go on that deal and carlo and mccavoy will both make more I think Carlo is usually underestimated on what he's worth. As for kreider I think if anyone thinks new york are going to get more for a upcoming ufa that will probably be dealt in feb then they are crazy that is a good deal.

This doesn't help the ducks where its needed don't get me wrong would be nice to land risto for cheap but silfverberg can put the puck in the net and thats where the ducks need the most help this coming season so dealing him away wont help I almost wouldnt do it if I was the ducks.
