Brain dead would explain you can't calculate simple math...

Toews - 873 games played, 755 points produced = .86 ppg
Kopitar - 1,003 games played, 888 points produced = .88 ppg

...get it yet?

Pal I'm talking year to year. At the end of the season Kopitar always has more points. Not this year obviously. Ppg or not Kopitar is still on top. Idk how you can't understand that. Toews plays on a line with Kane a lot and is on the pp unit with him that's the only reason his ppg is better. Kopitar plays on a line Brown ever since he came in the league and still puts up more points than Toews.

Kopitar gets more points in a season than Toews. Therefore Kopitar produces more than Toews..... How can you argue that when you look up their point totals and its right in front of your face. Ppg doesn't mean everything especially when the other guy outscores him. Your little 'advanced stats' don't change that.

So the 18-19 season doesn't count since Toews had more points....okay. Does the 16-17 season count? What about the 14-15 season? What about the 12-13 season? I guess those don't either because Toews had more points then Kopitar there too. Oh and PPG don't count either right? LMAO...whatever guy.

There's one thing you're forgetting

For someone who seems to know all about advanced stats you really need to do some research before you comment. There's something you aren't aware of:
All of those seasons you just mentioned except for 2018-19 Toews barely past Kopitar in points. 12-13 and 16-17 by 6 points and 14-15 by 2 points.

Kopitar outscored Toews many more seasons, a few I am not going to mention because they were by just 5-9 points.

17-18 Kopitar 92 Toews 52.... (That's 40 points)
Like I said above there are a few seasons where Kopitar still outscored Toews, but I left them out because the difference was barely anything like the seasons you mentioned.

Stats don't lie, you should know that mister advanced stat. Anyway I'm pretty sure this debate has come to a close and I rest my case. Kopitar is better than Toews and always has been. Have a blessed day.
