Not NJ fan but playing against us and from what I've heard, did well with Hughes and with Hischier so

He wasn’t great or bad he have a good hockey sense skate well but it’s preseason hockey! Who care if he score 20 point in three games the resl season start in 10 days ???

I saw 2 games he was in. He scored in one of them. He was going against AHL level players at the time and I think it was the goal the other team was caught in a line change so I don't want to say he "earned" the opportunity there for the goal. He stumbled in on it but made it count. If he had done the work to create space or whatever to score it, that would be different.

It's really hard to get a feel for him. Looking at him I'd like to say 20-30 goals? But we'll see. Wait till the competition gets up there. He was almost non existent in the game he scored that goal on. You didn't hear his name much till he scored.
I did like his game over in the KHL. I don't know how much it will translate. The game is a lot faster here on the NHL level. But I don't see a guy who is going to score 40 goals or be a 100pt player.
