Not worth the rental in tanev. He's not taking makars spot and you could get a depth RHD for cheaper if timmins can't play. Plus we haven't even seen franciouz yet give the guy a chance

Yeah Fair, I was basing this off around the trade deadline is Bryam and Franciouz didn't work out. Halak had a great season last year and wouldn't have to give a lot up for him. Plus they could try and resign Tanev as well, Need some experience on the blue line.

yeah maybe if we could get tanev for cheaper at the deadline, but he would just be another player unprotected when the expansion draft comes along so you don't want to give up too much. Halak would be a nice option if fraciouz doesn't work out but all i've heard is good things about him, should be able to hold his own as a back up.

Is Groub strong enough to be a starter tho? I think if he split he would find more success.

Yeah we're all hoping so haha, this year will be a big test for him. Either he comes out as a real number 1 or colorado has another hole to fill
