I watched the whole series. There were like 2 games where Binnington was garbage and the Bruins won those games no problem the rest of the series. The Bruins looked good but the Blues were the better team and played better. Now I don't care what you think. If you guys play the blues again with no upgrades. See ya! I can't wait until the playoffs(if they make no upgrades) and they get beat. I'll be here to laugh at ya. 100% Bruins won't win a cup with what they have.
Common sense if when you have the foundation to be a dynasty you go for it and get the pieces you need. Mr. Small Mind. I love how you are getting so offended by all this. You're the idiot who thinks they will win as is. No team ever does........
You should change your favorite team to a rebuilding team with your 'small minded' way of thinking.
Edit: You really don't know anything about contending teams do you?
I think the Blues were the better team last year and deserved to win. You have not listened to anything i have said you hear what you want. Nor have any comprehension of concept. Sad really. No point in having a conversation with someone that is so close minded and can only argue with insults when they are not agreed with.
So if we can’t have a reasonable conversation on philosophy stick to just the trades. Bruins are not trading a 1st and 3rd to move Backes. They refused to trade a 1st as it was. He will likely be bought out at seasons end. Backes does not waive for Ottawa this year now anyway.
Rangers likely accept if out of the playoff race but a left shot wing is the last thing the Bruins need and Sweeney is unlikely to pay that price.
Kings decline. Late 2nd and 2 pieces that will never amount to anything is not enough. Cehlarik could have been had for free, nobody took him. No trade value. Koppa i thought was going to be a steal of a late round pick has not shown anything and has no trade value. Would be more like late 2nd and Zboril to get the Kings interested.
The Kings trade is the only one i could see developing. But they talked about it last season and failed to work something.
If the Bruins were not loaded with contracts coming due next year and already not able to re-sign all then things would be different. They are in no position to trade away multiple drafts for a pair of rentals they can’t re-sign.
Sweeney is not a short term type of GM. He hated having to give up the 1st to move Beleskey and get Nash. He is still stinging from that. Last year when all the big names were on the market, he backed away, kept his 1sts and brought in Coyle and MoJo that fit perfectly.
Oh btw who did they Blues and Caps bring in at the deadline last 2 years? Nobody and Kempny. They won with what they had and neither were favorites to win from mid season on. Blues were contemplating selling at mid season. ??♂️
