Enough with this awful trade. Hyman is clearly extremely underrated by some in this fan base and Mayfield is ridiculously overrated by that same group. He is a bottom 4 Dman at best. That is worth maybe a 3rd and a low level prospect.

Sorry, imo, it is Hyman who is over-rated. (Ever consider why is he not still on Matty's Line?) At $2.25m that would commit Leafs to a 20-man roster! Imo, for a team seeking to make run for Cup, that's totally ridiculous. Remember that Toronto Star article in Sept'10? Hyman 'team' has carefully crafted his social media profile but he wouldn't make Top 6 on any other NHL team. Put him out to market and see what kind of return he generates from other NHL teams?
