yes but it's an over payment and no one is going to pay that for a rental.
He'd get a 1st and a prospect. type return.
You start sending back 30 goal scorers and other decent pieces and well, you seriously imbalance this trade.

I do like the ANA trade though. I think that could work.

galchenyuk is a rental too though. I assume in this case though NJD would resign him.

Before we trade him, we should let him acctually play like 10-20 games for us so we can truly get a grasp if hes a good fit on this team, and with malkin. They may be dynamic together so we might not have to trade him for anyone

yes he is, but it's not like NJ rentals have value and the penguins rentals don't.
Lets just forget that thought process.
I mean you are really paying for the difference between the two rentals. And it's not all of the rest that is attached there.
