I think the rangers would rather hold onto some of kreiders money than take gagner...idk if the math still checks out to keep EDM under cap. Other than that NYR probably accept, enough of a chance at a first round pick and I guess Pulju is a decent prospect still

I think they take one no conditions first and a lesser prospect that Poolparty at the end of the day before they do a deal like this for Kreider. The Zucc deal just never emerged for a late 1 and so they went the condition route. Kreider will get something in the neighborhood of what Hayes got.
