Description
I have no clue if this is fair value or completely off tbh, just wanted to see what ppl think

I love DeAngelo and hes been playing great but he's already our 3rd RD and thats before Miller and Lundkvist come in - he deserves more ice time.

Leafs desperately need help on D and a backup so they seem like the perfect trading partners

    I think ppl are undervaluing how good Georgiev is... he would easily be a starter if not for Hank

    yet every rangers fan is trading him in their Armchair teams for better players?

    I mean I'm sure were a little biased (every fanbase on here is) and i might be overvaluing him a little bit but the only reason every rangers fan is trading him is because we have one of the best goalie prospects in the league. He was on SKA in the KHL so no one knew if he was 100% legit or if he was just on a stacked team but he has been insane in the AHL so far. He's projected to be our long term starter after hank retires but georgiev is too good to keep being a backup

    Like i said i really had no clue if this trade was fair value or not, but Georgiev isnt in trade rumors because he's average, its actually the opposite smile

    Goalies are the hardest player to project, so if you have one that is playing well in NA, and a prospect who you assume that will be "the starter", its not a safe bet thinking you are in a place of luxury. A team that is rebuilding like the Rangers cant afford to taking those gambles

    Georgiev had bad AHL numbers but decent NHL numbers...you can never project goalies, they are voodoo for a reason
    Shestyorkin has a total of 5 AHL starts, dont start penciling in him as a first ballot hall of famer just yet.
