Offers for Markstrom

Created by: WhereArtTLuongo
Team: 2019-20 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 11, 2019
Published: Nov. 11, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Markstrom was on the table what would you give up for him? I believe the Canucks would be looking for something around what Bishop got 2 years ago, so a second a B+ level prospect, and a cap dump back-up goalie. Offer away!

Columbus is the obvious choice. Korpisalo, 3rd, Bittner

That honestly would not be that bad of an option. I still believe Korpisalo in the right hands would become a glorified backup if not a solid starter and I still like Bittner a lot. Potential to still become a good bridge winger/center between top 6 and bottom 6.

That's pretty decent, but would Markstrom for Korpisalo, Thurkauf, and a second work perhaps?

Jax get an NHL caliber starter to give the kids time to develop for a reasonable cost. Nucks get something for a guy who signs elsewhere next year. Win/win.

Jax don’t have a 2nd the next 2 years. Or a 3rd this year for that matter. They traded away a lot of picks to make a run. They will be hesitant as it is to move picks.

Canes if you want to take Reimer and a prospect.

Yeah that's a good idea, so could perhaps Markstrom for Reimer, Jack Drury, and the 2020 rangers second (assuming it upgrades)?

Canes would not touch that. Reimer and 2nd or, Reimer, mid to low prospect, 3rd. Maybe.
