The biggest piece in return for FL is a UFA. They’ll pass. Not to mention they want to be competitive so I doubt they move either of those guys.

Panthers will pass, no need or incentive to do this trade.

Could maybe see them doing a swap to get one of them with chucky going the other way and others but still don't think so.

Don’t see why the pens would do the Vancouver trade. Marino and Addison are > Stetcher. Seems like more of a trade just to make a trade

Bjugstad isnt very good and hes making 4 million, instead dadonov was brought in for 4 million so already a major upgrade there and Stecher is underrated and always underutilized at the beginning of every canucks season till they realize every year that he can play on the top unit or 2nd pairing. Marino cant play top pairing minutes.

Galchenyuk is younger, they gain cap space, they get a great back up goalie, they gain a 1st round pick rather than probably just losing the other two. Realistically hoffman will leave first as they cant afford both of their pay raises in the offseason.

They are also only giving away two players going to UFA too. And they need a back up to be competitive and theur defense is atrocious. A hall of famer like Luongo was able to disguise that horrible defense as half decent but yet another goalie pick up fails to do well there after a previously successful career..ahem tim thomas flashbacks.

AG is okay, don’t need Desmith we have Montembeault, first will probably be a late one. They are in win now mode unless they are completely out of it they won’t make this trade.

Not trading Bjugstad for Dadanov. So I don’t understand that comparison. Marino is doing just fine playing while Letang is out. And it’s only been 2 games now. Kinda silly to just completely scratch him when he is playing well. The kid is a rookie, so obviously there are going to be growing pains. With everything else he has been doing, you can live with the growing pains.

You sent them JACK JOHNSON that’s not fixing the defense. They have to score to stay competitive based on your thoughts that their D sucks. So they aren’t trading 2 of their best scorers.

FLA has a lot of sources for scoring like dadonov, barkov, huberdeau, hoffman, trochek, yandle, ekblad. Not many teams have at least 5 forwards who can score around 70 points or 2 defensemen who can score 40 or more. Their problem is their defensive game which is bad which translate to bad looking goaltebding too.

Cool. An Jarry fixed the goaltending how? Nothing you’ve said has been a reason to make the trade. It’s been why FL should not make the trade. “They’re bad defensively”, so they need all of their scorers. “The goaltending isn’t good”, Jarry doesn’t fix that. “They’re both UFAs”, so is the biggest piece FL receives. It’s not a good trade for FL. They don’t want JJ and they want to compete not give away pieces for so little.

Johnson is a two way defender and im not givong jarry here, it's desmith who's been better and only sent down cause of cap issues
