Description

Possibly another finish towards the bottom, Raymond may not be ready as he needs to get stronger but put him at 2nd line anyways. Veleno plays first half of year at wing with AA as center and transitions later half of year. yzerman may look to sell some guys like Perlini, Hirose, Fabbri, and Svechnikov as it seems to get a little crowded in the bottom 6. Wings take Luke Hughes with another lottery pick. Guys like McIsaac, Lindstrom, Mastrosimone, Berggren, and Grewe are all future pieces who grow in GR for another year or 2. Team probably starts to climb out the hole in 2022-2023. If the recent Draft picks pan out and they continue to draft well, they could be contenders before 2025. Trust the Yzerplan!

its a line up of good players but no franchise players unless zadina or Raymond turn into them. Can it be a team thats better than the sum of its parts, maybe if the right coach comes alone.

I still believe Zadina can be a 30-40 goal scorer in the NHL. Hes been finding his game in GR and makes elite plays down there. Still young, still learning, his time will come.

Ive seen Raymond compared to Mitch Marner a lot and if he can be that and drive that 2nd line, they would be hard to stop.

as for a coach im kinda split on that. Blashill has won at every level and our guys have gotten better every year i think hes done a good job helping develop them, however there are stretches where i think "what the hell is he doing." I like him and hate him at the same time

I kind think you gotta play Hirose with Bowey at least once before you can trade him. Even if you have to move Bowey to wing to make it obvious.
