Nylander. But he isn’t a 1c, I don’t really think that Monahan is either. This trade certainly doesn’t work either way though.

Sure hes no superstar but hes definitely still a 1C, he still leads that draft year in goals and probably will for a while once his shooting percentage gets back above 5%. Hes been one of the best players in the team this year marginally. Hes no Matthews, McDavid, Crosby or MacKinnon, but he sita right around the Couturier, Couture, Backstrom, W. Karlsson, Aho, Point level.
