Why does everyone want Hall to the Habs

Bergevin has never made a deal to get a rental where he gave up significant picks and/or prospects. I don't think Hall would fit in a team where it's defense first. He wouldn't be able to play how he likes.

I don't think Hall to MTL makes sense for Bergiven to do this season, I think we can agree on that, but this offer wouldn't even be considered by NJ. Hillis isn't a high enough end prospect and Byron isn't a good enough roster player to make up the difference. The pick would also have to be 2021.
