the ghost is a far better defenseman the risto. there is no need for this trade, the difference between JVR and risto is that JVR puts up more points

Can't say I know much about Rubtsov. Ghost makes Detroit an older team though which I'm not sure would make a lot of sense. Shores up the left side a bit though.
