This trade would help the Leafs out a lot! Nurse and Klefbom would definitely help their defensive play and Nurse would bring a much needed Physicality. The value is pretty even as Reilly is the best overall Dman of the trade, I don't see them retaining salary on Ceci though.

On the Oilers side they get a steady guy with more of an offensive upside I think that they could use on their back end and Johnsson could make them deeper up front.

True, but both teams decline. Trades like this don’t happen very often. Ceci doesn’t fill the hole that Nurse leaves and Rielly gives the 1st pair a whole new look, but is he really worth that swap? If we wanted to trade both Klef and Nurse, we’d do it separately and get solid packages or players for either which would be a more ideal situation.
