Bury Ceci and get a Backup

Created by: Trevorchef

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I am done with the people who still believe that Cody Ceci is good at hockey. (Not at that price point anyways). Send him down to the Marlies and be done with it.

This quote from The Athletic sums it up nicely as far as Cody Ceci goes IMO...

"At some point, I think we need to come to grips with the fact that Cody Ceci isn’t a very good NHL player. I’ve been rooting for him all season — and continue to — but there are still going to be those nights when he skates the puck up the ice, looks like he’s about to make a good play and does something extremely bizarre.
On Saturday, it was a flip-up into the stands. Last week, it was a point shot into a referee — who was standing in the corner. He doesn’t have great puck skills, struggles to make the right decision under pressure, plays an overly conservative gap in transition and allows way too many passes through the middle of the ice. If we’re being objective, he’s probably one of the worst defencemen in the NHL — which any reasonable Senators fan could’ve told you six months ago."

The price is too high for a backup? Too bad, we need one, and a good one! Still not enough? Then add a damn pick and lets be done with that too!!

Lets GO!!!

Are there not decent NHL backups out there to have? What about one of the Pitt guys? You'd think Casey Desmith would be available?
Forsberg and Condon are both in the minors and have NHL experience. Louis Dominque? What about Michael Neuwirh? where's that guy? You'd think you could bring one of these guys in to help out.
