Description

Apparently, Shero is taking calls on him. I think the Bruins would be perfect. Andersson is quite a skater, and I think he will fit with NJ nicely. Im thinking Boston has to add a guy like Heinen, but im not sure.

Zboril’s a bust, so almost no value. A 1st to take Backes, ok, but a 3rd Andersson Zboril didnt land you Palmieri

He isn’t. He has been very good at Prov the last 2 years. Had a good camp, was the last man cut, was talk of him opening on the roster with injuries to Moore and Miller but he had options, others did not. He will never live up to the draft slot. He’s a shutdown D man with some, but limited offense. He will be a low end 2nd pairing D man in the NHL and would be playing for half the league right now. B’s have the luxury of having 5 guys ahead of him at LD. Numbers game.

Nor is that true about Backes. Plenty of bad contracts have been moved for half that cost. This site has gone crazy because of Marleau. But that was an exception to the rule due to the circumstances.

Take out Anderson replace with Senyshyn.

Problem is Backes is highly unlikely to waive NTC in season.
