Big Trade deadline moves

Created by: TheDime99
Team: 2019-20 New York Rangers
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 28, 2019
Published: Dec. 29, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
-The Toronto trade allows the Rangers to have to potential to get a high return if Georgiev takes the starting job from Anderson and also gives Toronto a young defenseman on his rookie contract

-I think that Rangers Management has no intention of trading away Ryan Strome based on his play this season, I could see them offering him a 2 or 3 year deal around 4.5 Million

-In the Calgary trade the two seconds are equivalent to Kreider based off of the Zuccarello trade from last season, I made it two seconds instead of a second and a third because Kreider is the best winger left available. Anderson, Lindbom and the third are for Kylington.

-Brady Skjei can go to any team that would be willing to offer a 1st

No way i agree to that trade if im Calgary. I don't even like the value going over already let alone having both the picks potentially upgraded to firsts. Picking up Kreider as a rental for such a high price would be a shortsighted move by any GM. He is currently a 50 point pace player with speed. Not someone to mortgage the future over by spending 3 relatively high prospects to acquire for 30 ish games. Kylington is an NHL player. Calgary is a good team and already have a good shot of winning a round without trading for him, so having the condition for upgrading a 2nd to a 1st as a single playoff round is insane to me. Plus if they make the mistake of resigning him to a deal they now lose two unprotected firsts and Kylington for Kris ****ing Kreider? Thats better value than Erik Karlsson got.

I don't see Georgiev stealing the starter job right out of the gate from Andersson so I'd take that. Worst case for Andersson is that they become a tandom and split 40-40 and no goalie is going 30-10-0

its not better than the karlsson return. get off your high horse. calgary would totally except that trade. you must not watch kreider play often, he has a lot of value and teams around the league know it. and you, sir. you named yourself tomato. you know NOTHING.
