The players are fine, but I think the picks are a little heavy. Instead of a 1 and 3, maybe do a 2020 2nd and 2021 2nd. Just a suggestion, but I'm a Bruins fan, so the heck I know.

Retaining Kreider sweetens the pot, and this trade is good.

I am a bit lost on draft pick value. Like why give up so much for a guy for a few months? literally the other team has a chance to make that draft pick into a 15 year veteran. The cost for right now help seems to be through the roof.

I don’t think Kreider warrants a 1st round pick honestly. But I’d love to see him as a Bruin.

Neither do I, I think he is 2nd maybe 3rd. He isn't worth that, but NYR won't take lower than a 3rd at least. But I'm a B's fan, would be interesting.....smile

Unless Boston can resign Kreider after this year, if he only stays for a year to make a playoff run like Marcus Johansson did last year with BOS, this is giving up too much. Ritchie, send out. But, Heinen, I don't know. He can develop his game and I don't if when he develops if he'll be better than Fast. No hate, just some comments!

Conditional picks are a must now a days especially in kreider’s situation. But ya true that Heinen does have value and is young enough to surprise us one day with consistency. Could easily be him and a conditional pick for Kreider.
