That's pretty much what the trade above is - pretty sure Manning is only in there for cap purposes.

So basically it's Joel Persson a RD we don't need and a 2nd for AA and Biega. Yzerman wont sell low on AA he's still under team control for 2 more years. We'll just wait until his stock rises again. Detroit is set at RD for the foreseeable future with Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom. LD is what we'll need though we still have DeKeyser, Cholowski and McIsaac in the future at LD.

Caleb Jones plays RD. He has every since turning pro, although I suppose he could switch. Not sure where he played in junior.

I'd do Jones+Edmonton's 2nd for AA at a reasonable extension say 4 x 4.5 more like a show me kind of deal. Doubt he's even worth that but with his agent being Darren Farris he'll still ask for the moon. But will never get it.
