Dobson should either play regularly on right side or in junior.

I agree I think Mayfield should play his off side with him and that should be our top 6 going toward

How is him being scratched most of the time and not playing help his development?

He would play a ton of minutes instead of 5-8 minutes on Islanders per week. That is destroying his development.

I don't think the way they are handling Dobson has hindered his development at all. In the handful of games he's played, he's looked amazing. Admittedly, I wasn't able to watch the Leafs game, but from what I've read from Isles writers he had another great game.

Also, from what others have said, Dobson played a good amount of LD in Juniors, so he's not unfamiliar with it. Whereas the guys in the NHL haven't played much (if at all) on their opposite sides. It's not a great scenario to have, but I think the kid has done a great job so far when he's played.
