lemieux isn't a typical 3rd - 4th liner. he is much better, does a lot for a team. good teams need someone like him.

Nah he’s a better 4th liner and a solid 3rd liner. He’s a grit player that’s chipped in some point but def not good enough to deserve numbers like that

the team can be anyone. i picked montreal because of the teams need for top 9 forwards. rangers probably end up re-signing him anyways.

he is the second highest paid player in the league. is he the second best player? of course not, but he is still worth it to you because he is very good. he is having an amazing season compared to his past seasons. if he gave us the same numbers as he did in columbus he wouldn't be worth it. he'll have to score 100 points every season to be worth the money. panarin isn't the greatest defensive forward. mark stone make 2 mill less a year and is an all around better player.

any player getting paid over 10% of the cap has to give the team amazing numbers. panarin is very good and i love having a player like him on the team. although, i'm not going to say he is worth the contract he signed compared to the numbers he had in his past seasons.

no one on this site or anywhere else predicted panarin to get paid 11.6 a year. most people had him btwn 9.5-10. a handful posted 10.5 and they got smack talked to them. you gotta admit when u show he signed for 11.6 a season it shocked you

I think your completely wrong I would take panarin over stone. He’s an all around talent and he plays very solid in his defensive zone not to mention he makes everyone around him better. While stones good he doesn’t have nearly the same effect. Also that’s what happens when you sign top ufas u gotta pay em more but Panarin s lived up to that potential

Also no one on this cite predicts anything right... and when you have 4 teams trying to get him at the end of FA then the price goes up
